WOW!!! So much history and the staff/family are more than happy to share their time and have a chat. The wines and fortified's are sensational :)

Recommended by a local as having long tradition of producing quality wines and port. Easy to find with friendly staff and a rich history of wine, family and river boats. Makes the visit worthwhile, enjoyable and interesting. I hope you enjoy the wine as much I did.

No pressure, casual atmosphere, impressive old red-gum press.

It was suggested we visit by SA friends on our recent trip around SA from Vic. So glad we did. The large press and the story behind it was incredible. Alas, we did not know the name of the lady who looked after us, but she was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and a delight - especially in the tasting room. Were were even allowed to lead our little Maltese dog around (thank you). This is a winery you need to visit if in the area. We bought wines here (suited to oysters and cheese platters) plus several ports, and will look for them locally.
